Ama Dablam expedition offers a superb, technical climbing experience in Himalayas. Amadablam expedition is technically demanding and has it all: ice, rock, scrambling, killer views, great approach and the great base camp in a meadow with a stream. All climbers need to have good skills on rock and ice climbing and technically competent to join this Ama Dablam expedition. On most parts of the Amadablam climbing route there will be fixed rope, however, the climbers should know the skills of climbing through steep rock and hard compact ice. We follow the standard South West ridge route to the top, as it is consider the safe route, free from the objective danger such as avalanche in the Amadablam climbing expedition.

Amadablam Expedition Route

To start the Amadablam expedition we take an exciting flight to Lukla and set off well trodden route to Everest base camp for proper acclimatization before the ascend to the Ama dablam base camp. Our expedition crews do stock all the food and climbing stuff at Amadablam base camp while the climbing team members are on acclimatization hike. Amadablam base camp stand as a base station during the Amadablam expedition from where we start the bid to scale the top. 

Continuing the Amadablam expedition we climb the southwest from base camp over boulder field, slabs, cairns and gully to reach to the Expedition camp 1 at 5700 meter. From Camp I we follow the East side of ridge and continues on the narrow crests and traverse until step onto the West side of the ridge. The short section of the hardest pitch leads to Camp II in the very narrow space for Camping. We climb the ridge to tongue-tied traverse eastward leading gully between the Grey tower and rocky structure on our Ama Dablam expedition Camp III. We start our Amadablam climbing expedition summit day from the camp III following the south west ridge to the summit crossing obvious crevasses. The joy of conquering the Amadablam peak is beyond imagination. Outline Itinerary of Ama Dablam Expedition

Day 01 : Arrive in Kathmandu O/n at hotel.
Day 02-03 : Ama Dablam Expedition Preparation and official formalities.
Day 04-09 : Fly to Lukla and trek to Ama Dablam expedition.
Day 10-27 : Ama Dablam peak climbing expedition period.
Day 28-30 : Trek back to Lukla.
Day 31 : Fly to Kathmandu.
Day 32-33 : In Kathmandu.
Day 34 : Amadablam expeditions end / airport transfer.
